A 1GW DESERT-VISION solar power plant generates a solar protected area of 1600 hectares.
This area can be used as a huge greenhouse.
The food grown there requires only 10% of the fresh water produced, the rest is for free use - for
example desert greening and much more.
In these greenhouses, large quantities of food can be produced in a landscape that was previously
absolutely barren.
The DESERT-VISION power plants can make a major contribution to the food supply.
