China has long served as an extended workbench for the industrialised countries, but the former advantages are increasingly breaking away. More and more companies are looking for ways out of this dilemma. In the future sun cities, new reliable and environmentally friendly new productions could emerge. The new productions could comply with the new industry standard 4.0 from the beginning and the new citizens (refugees) would have secure and decent jobs.
